This Month @ Winchester Anglican

GriefShare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

Our goal is to a create a space in which you can talk openly to other persons who are grieving the death of a loved one. Each week, for 13 weeks, we will learn one self contained lesson focused on a piece of grieving. Each person will have a workbook of their own to write down reflections and there will be time for dialog, prayer and support from each other.

Adult Discipleship Hour Classes

November Class: "Introduction to the new ACNA Prayer Book"

The Anglican Church of North America has recently released a modern version of the Book of Common Prayer, and even though you might not know it, we use it every Sunday. It is also a great book for personal devotions, getting closer to God through worship, prayer, and Scripture. Come learn how to pray in an Anglican way, using the new 2019 prayer book.

Instructed by Darren Jones. Meeting

November 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th at 9:00am in the Purple Room.

Thanksgiving Sunday, 12/1/19

On this Thanksgiving Sunday, December 1st when we come together at 9:00am or 10:45am, during the sermon time, for as long as needed, we will open the floor for you to give thanks to the Lord and to offer testimonies of God's faithfulness throughout the last year. We are called by Christ to be his 'witnesses'. Our testimonies of God's work in our lives are the outworking of this call to bear witness to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and his ongoing work in us. We will give thanks together for all that God is doing among us on December 1st 2019.

Love

We aspire to be a loving church that welcomes the stranger and cares about people where they are.

Generosity

We aspire to be a generous church that builds missional relationships in Winchester, in the surrounding cities and towns, and in the world.

Concern

We aspire to be a concerned church that cares about the community in which it lives and wants to make an impact on both the materiel and spiritual needs of people inside and outside the church.

Nurture

A nurturing church that provides a genuinely friendly and non-judgmental environment which is particularly cohesive for people to hear and respond to the Gospel while healing from their own brokenness.
