Come spend the morning on the Shenandoah! We'll meet at 8:45am at the Downriver Canoe Company in Bentonville, VA and spend 3-4 hours floating down the river.
Cost is $25/person. Please make checks out to Winchester Anglican Church and give to Jordan Ware on Sunday (due by June 20).
What to bring: Swimwear, sandals or sneakers (required), towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, drinks for the drink cooler, and snacks for yourself on the river. The company provides the tube, a life jacket, and the shuttle service!
What if I'm uncomfortable in a tube?: Let us know if you are uncomfortable for whatever reason to float in a tube, but you would still like to try to get out on the river. There are rafts available to rent for 2-6 people. Expect a price increase should you choose this option.
Groups of women meeting for Christ-centered conversation in-person, and outdoors (weather-permitting). You are welcome to drop in anytime -- it's not an ongoing study. This spring we are using discussion questions from Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren, but you don't have to have read the book before you come. We'd love to see you!
